This week Joey and I are prepping for the OHWAY Novice State Tournament. My main duties will include floating around to assist with working the clock, cleaning the mats, pointing people in the right direction. Etc. Joey is preparing me for the event and how it works since it deals with youth wrestling, which is different from college wrestling. A few requirements for eligibility include: 1. OH-WAY Novice Championships are open to Ohio residents ONLY. 2. 4 years experience or less. 3. No OAC state qualification (not including the current year) 4. No OYWA state qualification (not including the current year) 5. Cannot have placed top 6 at OH-WAY State, unless 8-man bracket or less (not including the current year) 6. This form must be signed by the Athlete, Parent and Coach certifying the wrestler’s eligibility. (If the parent is the coach then the parent must sign as the coach also.) I will also be sending out an e-mail blast two times a week to promote the event for all youth in the state of Ohio
